We welcome you to come as you are and enjoy The Dubbo Women’s Festival, a day of relaxation, care, information, and connection for women of all ages and stages. 

Come for the day or spend an hour.

Listen to experts in women's physical and mental health answer the curly questions, let the kids run around while you lunch on the lawn, or take a moment to prioritise self-care with meditation and mindfulness in The Moment Lounge.

The event team acknowledge the Wiradjuri people as the traditional custodians of where we work. We value their connection to country, community and culture.

The Hub

Take what you need. Pour a cup of tea, have a chat with experts, access services and information.  Health, nutrition, financial guidance, family planning, legal resources, mental health support, employment and training, counselling, parenting, caregiver resources, and more.

The Moment Lounge

Escape for 20 minutes in our mini retreat. Prioritise your well-being and discover how easy it can be to give some self care with a mindful moment like this every day.

Social Quarter

Our welcoming communal space. This outdoor, grassy area will be set with chairs, tables, and mats on the ground. Here is where you can enjoy art, craft, entertainment, and connection, as well as a free nutritional lunch under the trees.

Mums Corner

Need to bring the little one?  You can still enjoy everything the day offers with a special space with a toy library for the children and comfortable chairs for the mums.

The Dubbo Women's Festival
is a Social Gain project.

Social Gain projects are collaborations that bring good humans together to do great things.nThey are fun, community-minded, and backed by strong, interconnected networks. This collaboration is the work of women passionate about community well-being and many other extraordinary people and organisations. 

Camilla Ward 
Camilla is a long-standing figure in Dubbo’s creative arts scene, runs Creative Voice, helping clients excel in public speaking, singing, and performance. She leads the Sing Out! Choir, founded Black Box Creatives, and directed Macquarie Conservatorium’s Youth Music Theatre program. In 2019, she was Dubbo Local Woman of the Year.

Erifili Davis
Erifili is a highly regarded multi-form artist and creative advocate. The award-winning filmmaker, Secretary of Dubbo Filmmakers and President of Wesley House Players was acknowledged for creating inclusive opportunities when awarded the 2024 Dubbo Cultural Person of the Year.

Sharon Quill
Sharon is the founder of Social Gain and a founding member of the Dubbo Women's Festival. She specialises in inclusive, impactful experiences. Her business Social Gain, activates social change through fun, creative projects. She's been acknowledged twice in Hansard for her community events including the Dubbo Women’s Festival.
Camilla Ward
