Better Together: Collaborations for Community, by Community
Strategic alliances, creativity, and innovation have always been powerful drivers of social change. That’s why ‘Better Together’ is at the core of every Social Gain project.
We partner with public, private, and nonprofit sectors to amplify and expand on the good work already being done and create mutual wins that address grassroots needs for the betterment of all.
Our partnerships and collaborations celebrate and amplify partner greatness to build authentic community connections.
The Dubbo Women’s Festival is a testament to the power of collaboration. For the Festival's inaugural year, we brought together local supporters: Holistic Counsellor, Charnie Tuckey Rose Prout, owner of Centric Movement Erifili Davies from Studio 138 Together, they created The Moment Lounge, a tranquil retreat at the Black Box Theatre featuring a 20-minute film on gentle seated exercises and an empowering mindfulness session.
The Moment Lounge is now an ongoing feature of the Festival where attendees can pop in even for a few minutes, to take a breath, and experience how easy self-care can be.
Thanks to Dubbo Regional Council, the pilot and feasibility study for Town Telly is an online community show spotlighting the vibrant essence of our region was realised.
Presented by locals, it showcases:
-
Arts, culture, and creativity
-
Community heroes and local stories
-
Upcoming events and regional highlights
By leveraging digital platforms, Town Telly will be accessible, inclusive, and uplifting—boosting local pride and tourism.
