Camilla is a teacher, performer, and theatre professional who has been a central player in the creative arts in Dubbo for decades.
In her coaching business, The Creative Voice Studio, she brings out her client’s creative voices to achieve outstanding public speaking, singing and performance results.
She leads the dementia friendly Sing Out! Choir and, most recently, the sell-out Pub Rock Choir for Dubbo’s Dream Festival.
She’s worked as a drama and music teacher at schools in Australia and overseas and as a sessional university academic at CSU Dubbo, She founded and was the Creative Director of Black Box Creatives Youth Theatre Company, and was Program Producer and Director Macquarie Conservatorium’s Youth Music Theatre program for many years.
In 2019, Camilla was the Dubbo Electorate Local Woman of the Year for her service to the arts community.
She is known as Cam of the Cam & Shaz Show every weekon Dubbo’s community radio, DCFM 88.9. Their show talks about all the good people and things in the region under the banner of kindness, community and connection.
